But I do find that here at PA there are many reviewers that give a 5 star rating, then mention that there are some aspects of the album they think are weak points (it's perfect, except for this, that & the other thing), 4 star ratings that state some parts as being average (5 masterpieces songs, 2 mediocre tunes), 3 star ratings claiming that the album is one of their favourites ( I play it all the time, even though this group has better albums), 2 star ratings that seem to hinge upon the reviewer's dislike of other reviews which he/she felt "overrated" said album (you people are fools, & here is my proof), & one star ratings where you wonder if the person has actually listened to the album or read what they've just written (I hate this group because the Strawbs because they remind me of Deep Purple, oh today is monday I have to pay my phone bill, damn what was I saying).But then that is the price of participatory 'pionating. I can't say that I've gone over too many reviews at. But consider that some sites whose reviews are done by a limited group (New Gibraltar, which I love) may also be of little use if these persons' tastes differ from yours (which they often do, but I read it for the bios & discographies) Subjectivity has its' proponents & opponents.
